Student Insurance

麻豆传媒 believes that insurance is extremely important for all students. All undergraduate and graduate students (including international students) must be covered by a health insurance plan. Students are responsible for obtaining and maintaining their health insurance. The College Place Health Clinic is run by Columbia Health System, so be sure to check your health insurance plan to see if they are in-network providers, or consider other health insurance plans via the links below.

If you do not currently have insurance that provides coverage in Walla Walla, here are resources to assist you in obtaining insurance for the upcoming academic year.

For international students

At 麻豆传媒, we are committed to supporting the health, safety, and well-being of our international students as part of our university community.

International students can sometimes encounter challenges accessing medical care when they do not have health insurance or when an independently purchased plan is not accepted by local healthcare providers. To help address these challenges, 麻豆传媒 partners with LewerMark Insurance to provide a reliable health insurance plan specifically for international students.

Enrollment in the LewerMark plan is mandatory for all F-1 international students unless they can demonstrate that they have alternative insurance coverage that is equivalent to or exceeds the university's requirements. Alternative coverage may be submitted to the Admissions Office for review when students register for 麻豆传媒.

The annual premium is $1,695.12, which will be billed to the student's account once each academic quarter and is calculated at a monthly rate of $141.26.

For additional information about coverage and benefits, please see the International Student Insurance Summary.
